Job summary

West Henderson Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the daytime shift who will plan and provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families. The role requires coordination with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes and alignment with the hospital’s mission.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, NV RN license, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP or related training is preferred. Supervisory experience is a plus in this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BSN required
• RN license in Nevada
• BLS required, ACLS/PALS/NRP or related training preferred

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for direct and indirect nursing care
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary team to achieve safe, optimal outcomes
• Directs and facilitates nursing staff under supervision
• Supports facility vision, mission and goals
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision
• Demonstrates Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence in all interactions
