Job summary

West Henderson Hospital in Nevada seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a high-acuity setting. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support a patient-centered care approach.

The ideal candidate has a BSN and at least 1 year of acute care experience, or 3 years part-time supervisory experience, plus strong cardiovascular assessment and 12-lead EKG skills. Nevada RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN required.
• Minimum of one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care nursing; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in physical assessment of cardiovascular patient; fluent in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Comfortable with 12 lead EKG interpretation and cardiac arrhythmias; stress testing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members and guides nursing staff to safe, optimal outcomes.
• Supports activities that meet facility vision, mission and goals; demonstrates service excellence.
