Job summary

Henderson Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse for full-time night shift to provide direct and indirect patient care in a cardiovascular-focused setting. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and alignment with the hospital’s service standards.

Candidates should hold a BSN with NV RN license and current BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP or equivalent training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN required.
• Minimum of one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care specialty nursing.
• One to three years supervisory experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification. ACLS, PALS, NRP or required specialty training.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal outcomes.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision to meet care goals.
• Supports activities aligned with facility vision, mission and goals.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
