Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager for the Cardiac Medicine Telemetry Unit. This full-time role covers days, with on-call and occasional weekend duties, and focuses on safe, high-quality patient care.

The manager leads staff, manages budgets, and ensures excellent patient/family experience while fostering a highly reliable team. An RN license in VA or compact state is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license valid in Virginia or compact multi-state.
• BLS certification (AHA RQI) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the clinical area and patient care services.
• Supervises staff and ensures patient safety and outcomes.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring, and staff development.
