Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA seeks a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for the Medical Telemetry Unit. The role provides clinical leadership for nursing care, leads safety and quality initiatives, and helps optimize workflow while supporting staff development and patient-centered service.

The position requires a BSN, with MSN preferred, and active RN licensure with BLS (and ACLS within 1 year).

Qualifications

• RN with 18 months acute care experience required.
• Telemetry/Medical unit experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area.
• Provides clinical leadership for nursing care delivery in the department.
• Leads safety and quality initiatives and focuses on simplifying workflow.
• Contributes to staff development and promotes excellent customer service (Gold Standard).
