Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Nursing Director of Cardiac Telemetry to lead the 24/7 unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

As part of Universal Health Services, you will oversee staffing, workflows, and patient outcomes, working with a multidisciplinary team to advance programs and technology while fostering professional growth and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse's license in the State of Florida.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification
• National certification in specialty area preferred
• 5-8 years clinical nursing experience.
• Minimum 5 years progressive nursing management experience
• BS or BSN required; MS or MSN preferred.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Outlook, Kronos, Cerner, Microsoft Office (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for the 24 hour management of Cardiac Telemetry Services unit to ensure the facility meets the established standard of care.
• Responsible for the 24 hour management and oversight of the Surgical/Orthopedic inpatient nursing department and any other assigned areas to ensure the facility meets all regulatory, state and corporate standards.
