Kindred Hospital Philadelphia - Havertown and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) seeks a Telemetry Monitor Technician to monitor heart rhythms using telemetry, review patient data, and identify rhythm variances to support rapid clinical decisions.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, current BLS, ability to read/write English, and strong attendance. No prior experience required; on-site role in a hospital setting with 24/7 care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• EKG certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor telemetry of patients by observing telemetry monitors for changes in cardiac rhythms.
• Remove and clean telemetry boxes when patient is discharged from telemetry.
• Maintains accurate records of telemetry patients.
• Immediately notifies RN or supervisor of rhythm changes.
• Assigns transmitters and wires and sets up the monitor system for all telemetry ordered patients.
• Troubleshoots transmitters and wires and sets up the monitor system for all telemetry ordered patients.
