Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Cardiac Monitor Technician for Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, PA. The role involves continuous observation and interpretation of cardiac rhythms for cardiology patients under RN supervision, with responsibilities including alarm management and maintaining telemetry equipment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and basic dysrhythmia training; CPR certification is required. EMS or CMA training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic cardiac dysrhythmia training or completion of a dysrhythmia course on hire.
• CPR – American Heart Association required.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, interpret, and record ECG rhythms according to procedure.
• Maintain continuous ECG rhythm assessment at central monitor and during transport.
• Identify changes and report to the RN as appropriate.
• Clean and maintain telemetry monitors and accounts for monitors on discharge.
• Demonstrate knowledge of central station and bedside monitors; manage alarms.
