Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a cardiothoracic/cardiology setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
• Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safe practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
