Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a full-time Night Shift Nursing Assistant in the Telemetry Unit-4E/W-Cardiac Oncology. You will provide patient related care under supervision and observe changes, documenting accurately.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, vital signs, activities of daily living, and timely communication with licensed caregivers. You will participate in ongoing care planning and assist with routine tasks as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of experience in the healthcare setting within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• EMT license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides and collaborates direct patient care services under the direct supervisor of a licensed caregiver.
• Assists, observes and reports changes in patient condition to licensed caregiver and maintains accurate medical record documentation.
• Addresses and/or directs questions or concerns from patients, families, caregivers, or health care team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
