Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) – Cardiac Tele for the Fort Worth area. You will deliver direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff in a fast-paced cardiovascular unit.

Responsibilities include data collection, assisting with admissions and discharges, ensuring safety, and collaborating with the care team to tailor care to diverse patient needs. A supportive environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
• PCT Training Program TX CNA, NHA, NAHP, NCCT, accredited program or THR approval.
• EMT training or equivalent required or parallel qualifications.
• BCLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• CPI Training Maintained annually.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and assistance based on the plan of care and patient/family preferences.
• Collects and reports patient data, supports admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Performs technical procedures safely and documents care accurately.
• Collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and proactively meets patient and visitor needs.
• Demonstrates teamwork and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participates in process improvement and adheres to safety goals.
