Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the 7E Cardiac Tele unit in Chicago. This full-time night shift role emphasizes coordination, staffing, and critical thinking to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

The RN will supervise and delegate, collaborate with admissions and bed control, and participate in performance evaluations and team training. Illinois RN licensure and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
• Two years experience as a Staff Nurse.
• Clinical nursing skills, effective communication, teaching and motivational skills.
• Certification within 2 years of promotion preferred.
• Current Illinois RN license; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, delegate, and communicate effectively on clinical and operational issues.
• Serve as a resource to nursing and medical staff.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and bed placement; monitor patient conditions.
• Make rounds and manage unit staffing and assignments based on census and acuity.
• Delegate tasks to RNs and support staff; participate in staff evaluations and onboarding.
• Act as a resource during codes and disasters; communicate unit status to leadership.
