Job summary

Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current Michigan licensure as an NP or PA.
- National certification (ANCC or AANP for NP; NCCPA for PA).
- DEA registration and Michigan Controlled Substance License (PA only).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of OR first assist experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as surgical first assist in the OR—harvesting radial arteries and saphenous veins with precision and skill.
- Deliver expert inpatient consultations for cardiac surgery evaluations and pre-operative workups.
- Collaborate with top-tier cardiovascular surgeons to provide innovative, exceptional patient care.
- Help drive the growth of a rapidly expanding regional cardiovascular surgery hub.
