Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Surgical Technician to join the cardiac surgery team. Under supervision, you will scrub in the operating room, assist physicians, prepare and position patients, and maintain instruments and supplies for procedures.

This role requires BLS, OR scrubbing experience, and a NBSTSA-certified Surgical Technologist certificate within 3 months of hire. The position is on-call with variable days and hours, based in California.

Qualificações

• One year of operating room scrubbing experience within the last two years.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Surgical Technologist Certificate within 3 months of hire from NBSTSA.
• Competency scrubbing for all types of surgical procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physician during minor surgical procedures.
• Assist in obtaining tissue specimens.
• Assist physician with inpatient pacemaker procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic tests and medical procedures.
• Maintain sterilized supplies, instruments and equipment.
