Trinity Health Of New England's Saint Francis Hospital in Connecticut seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Surgical (CV Surgical) for a full-time, 12-hour night shift. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to adults recovering from cardiovascular and thoracic surgery in a fast-paced acute care unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to cardiovascular surgical patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, vital signs, lab results, and post-operative progress.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments per orders and protocols.
• Manage chest tubes, pacing wires, drains, telemetry, and post-operative wounds.
• Recognize and respond to changes in condition, emergencies, and rapid responses.
• Collaborate with surgeons, cardiologists, APPs, rehab therapists, and the care team.
