Job summary

Stamford Health Medical Group is seeking a Full-time Staff RN for Cardiac Surgery in Stamford, CT. The role supports patient navigation through the perioperative continuum, from outpatient clinics to ICU, ensuring seamless coordination and education.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree, CT RN license, and BSN is preferred. Prior cardiovascular experience and BLS are required, with ongoing professional development encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• CT RN license required, BSN preferred.
• Maintain minimum 6 contact hours annually.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care across outpatient, pre/post-surgical, ICU and floors for cardiac surgery patients.
• Document, schedule tests, and coordinate appointments and communications.
• Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with physicians.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

CT Registered Nurse license

BSN preferred
