Job summary

PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, OR seeks a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant for the Cardiac Surgery Unit on day shift. You’ll support patients through recovery after cardiac procedures and work under RN supervision to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Oregon CNA certification.
• BLS certification at hire.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Help with walking, repositioning, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor vital signs and record patient information.
• Observe changes and communicate concerns to the nursing team.
• Document patient care accurately.
