Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in a specialty area may be required to maintain competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per hospital policies and standards of practice.
• Perform focused pre-test assessments including vitals, symptoms, and contraindications.
• Administer stress agents and monitor for adverse effects.
• Maintain continuous monitoring of ECG, BP, SpO2, and patient symptoms during testing.
• Recognize emergencies and initiate ACLS protocols when needed.
• Educate patients about procedures and post-test instructions.
• Document vitals, symptoms, medications, and interventions in real time.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, APPs, and technologists to ensure safe testing.
