Job summary

The Cardiac Stress Lab Technician role in Asheville, NC is a 13-week contract position with a 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, focusing on Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress, and nuclear stress testing; duties include monitoring patients and maintaining equipment.

Requirements include current BLS and ACLS, experience in stress testing and EKG interpretation; knowledge of cardiac rehabilitation preferred; ARMStaffing provides benefits and support to staff.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in stress testing procedures and EKG interpretation.
• Knowledge of cardiac rehabilitation practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor cardiac stress tests.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during testing.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment used in stress testing.
• Document patient data and test results in the electronic health record system.
• Provide education and support to patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation.
