Job summary

Tri-City Cardiology is seeking a Cardiovascular Stress Technician (Level I or II) to join a fast-paced team in East Mesa, AZ. The role includes treadmill testing, stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress testing under physician orders.

Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED, Medical Assistant diploma or Cardiovascular Technology/Exercise Physiology degree, and BLS/ACLS certifications (90 days to obtain if not current).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma OR Associate's in Cardiovascular Technology OR Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications or will obtain within 90 days.
• Completion of basic ECG course and 85% passing EKG interpretation.
• 40 wpm typing; basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform treadmill testing in multiple modalities per physician orders.
• Explain testing procedures clearly to patients and obtain consent.
• Monitor patients for symptoms and communicate with physician.
• Enter data into Syntermed and Next Gen EHR with high accuracy.
• Maintain treadmill room supplies and equipment; check crash cart daily.
• Track schedule changes and reschedule patients as needed.
