Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice. You will assess care plans, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and participate in performance improvement activities to deliver compassionate care.

You will administer medications, change dressings, monitor wounds and vital signs, document patient status in the EHR, and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs; carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
