Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Stepdown CSSU. The RN coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care with pre-operative and post-operative nursing responsibilities.

You will advocate for patients to support an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include assessing patients, performing procedures, documenting care, administering medications, and maintaining knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• NH RN license required.
• ADN required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
• Advocate for patients to support an exceptional patient experience.
• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Document care in the medical record and monitor prescribed medications.
