Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Stepdown unit. You will coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers, including pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, performing provider-ordered procedures, documenting care in the medical record, and administering medications with close monitoring.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 90 days of start date.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• NH RN license required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by provider.
• Document care in patient medical record timely and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
