Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Stepdown CSSU to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across pre-operative and post-operative stages. Qualifications

• NH RN license required
• ACLS and BCLS certifications must be obtained within specified timelines (ACLS 90 days, BCLS 30 days)
• Pre-operative and post-operative patient care experience is valued

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, noting changes
• Perform procedures as ordered by physician
• Document care provided in patient records promptly and accurately
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical procedures and equipment
