Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. is seeking a Cardiac Stepdown RN to provide specialized nursing care in a high-risk cardiac unit.

You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, focusing on evidence-based practices and patient-family education in line with safety standards. Requirements include an RN license and a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; BSN is preferred with limited experience.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate's degree required.
• RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred with < 2 years of experience.
• Telemetry/cardiac experience and BSN advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management and medications.
• Participates in safety and quality initiatives and communicates individualized care plans.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs respecting cultural and personal values.
• Ensures safe, high-quality care and collaborates with the healthcare team to optimize outcomes.
