Ascension in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Stepdown unit at Saint Thomas West. This full-time day-shift role focuses on implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating multi-disciplinary care, and executing physician orders.

Minimum requirements include a Tennessee RN license or multi-state compact license, ACLS within 6 months, BLS within 30 days, and a nursing diploma.

Qualifications

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient\'s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Education

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current compact state license
