Centralus Health is seeking a Tele Registered Nurse for the 5D Cardiac Stepdown unit in Elmira, NY. The role requires caring for a diverse patient population with cardiac and general medical cases, in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Requires NYS RN license (or eligibility), BLS/ACLS and Stroke certifications within 90 days, and weekend/holiday rotation. Full-time, onsite with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required to obtain NYS RN licensure.
• Current NYS RN license or eligibility for licensure required.
• BLS, ACLS and Stroke Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• BSN preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with diverse needs using person-centered care and prioritize needs.
• Demonstrate strong communication with health care team and patients.
• Implement clinical skills and stay current with department policies and standards.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and document accordingly with clear, compliant records.
• Educate patients and families and serve as a resource on care standards.
