Job summary

Arnot Health is seeking a Tele Registered Nurse for 5D Cardiac Stepdown in Elmira, NY. You will provide patient-centered care on a 24-bed unit, with weekend/holiday rotation and 12-hour shifts.

Strong teamwork and clinical skills are essential to manage diverse cardiac, respiratory, and general medical cases. Requires NY RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS/ACLS with Stroke certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to obtain a New York State limited permit.
• Current New York State Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure.
• BLS, ACLS and Stroke Certification Required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients across cardiac stepdown unit using person-centered care; prioritize needs.
• Demonstrate effective communication with the care team and patients.
• Support documentation and adherence to unit policies; participate in continuous improvement.

Education

Graduate of accredited nursing program

Current New York State RN license

BLS/ACLS/Stroke Certification within 90 days
