Arnot Health in Elmira, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5D Cardiac Stepdown Tele unit. You will care for a diverse cardiac patient population with collaborative teamwork, focusing on high-quality patient care and safety.

This full-time role requires flexibility for 12-hour shifts, including evenings and nights. Minimum qualifications include NY RN license, accredited nursing program graduate, and BLS/ACLS and Stroke certifications within 90 days.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to obtain a New York State limited permit.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure.
• BLS, ACLS and Stroke Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients with a variety of needs on the 5D Cardiac Stepdown Unit.
• Use a person-centered care approach and prioritize patient needs.
• Demonstrate strong communication with health care professionals and patients.
• Implement technical skills required to care for the patient and ensure safety.
• Educate patients and families and serve as a resource on department standards.
