GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. The role requires 12 months of PERM experience in Stepdown, Ohio license or Compact state license, and current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.

Expect 13-week duration at 36 hours per week with rotating 12-hour shifts. Travel nurses may float to units J1-2, J33 and ED to care for the same patient population, with orientation including ECG rhythm recognition and safe medicate

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with Stepdown experience.
• Must have 12 months permanent experience in the specialty.
• Must hold Ohio license or Compact state license.
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must be willing to work holidays and rotate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide Stepdown RN care and patient monitoring.
• Possible float to units J1-2, J33 and ED for the same patient population.
• Adhere to 12-hour rotating night/day shifts (7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm).
• Complete orientation including ECG rhythm and safe medicate assessments.

D/N rotating shift: 7pm-7:30am/7am-7:30pm (Shifts may be variable, IF NEEDED TO MEET THE OPERATIONAL NEEDS OF THE HOSPITAL, Facility will do their best to honor travelers preferred shift but reserve the right to rotate them if necessary.)

MUST HAVE 12 months PERM experience in specialty applying for.

MUST HAVE PERM OHIO LICENSE OR COMPACT STATE IN HAND

AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS cert required.

Traveler must work at least every other holiday.

ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
