Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Step Down Unit (CSDU). The role is full-time with a 36-hour work week and a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current IL RN license.
• BSN required.
• Certification in your current area of specialty once meeting eligibility requirements.
• Current AHA CPR.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts to accommodate staffing.
• May require to take call.
• Exposure to adverse or hazardous conditions while caring for patients.
• Ability to assist in patient evacuation during emergencies.
• Works with potentially infectious specimens and patients.
• Ability to respond to patients timely and lift up to 35 pounds; use equipment for heavier lifts.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of the Professional Registered Nurse, renders nursing care to patients within the unit.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high standard of care.
