HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Cardiac Step Down/Progressive Care RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a 12-hour Day shift setting. You will collaborate with providers for pre- and post-operative care and advocate for patients to ensure a superior experience.

Competenze

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associates Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is required - ok to be obtained within 30 days of transfer/hire.
• At least 6 months previous RN work experience required.

Mansioni

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
• Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
