Qualifications

• Must have current and valid RN license issued by the State.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-acuity care with close monitoring and care coordination.
• Monitor cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry for changes.
• Administer prescribed medications, including IV and cardiac drugs.
• Perform physical assessments and review medical histories.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Respond promptly to emergencies with CPR and defibrillation as needed.
