Job summary

Beloit Health System at Beloit Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Step-Down/Intermediate Care Unit. You will provide specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive cardiac care with close monitoring and advanced assessment.

The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to maintain high-quality, patient-centered outcomes. A sign-on bonus is offered and shifts include 1st and 3rd with 24–30 hours per week.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
State of Wisconsin nursing licensure required; compact license or temporary permit may be acceptable.
Must be CPR/BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
Must be ACLS certified within 6 months of hire.
Stroke certification (NIHSS) within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, supervise, and provide care for patients across the lifespan.
Interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to rapid changes in cardiac conditions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.
Educate patients and families appropriately.
Adhere to infection control and quality improvement programs.
