Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Provide patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Must become certified by ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI within 6 months of employment.
• BLS certification required.
• Registered ARDMS or ARRT and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) preferred.
