Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer I to perform and document echocardiology diagnostic tests under supervision, ensuring quality and patient care across ages.

The position offers pay between $39.13 and $51.21 per hour, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, plus benefits such as CEU tuition reimbursement, 401(k) matching, and Well-Being Time.

Experience and education requirements include an allied health associate or bachelor’s degree, ARDMS/CCI eligibility, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in allied health or bachelor’s degree; or accredited sonographer program.
• BLS certification required before patient care.
• Must obtain ARDMS or CCI credential within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record echocardiology tests under supervision.
• Ensure echocardiogram exams are of acceptable quality and appropriate for patient age groups.
