Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to join the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Imaging team. You will perform transthoracic and stress echocardiograms, and contribute to education for students and fellows.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAAHEPP-accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program.
• BS in Diagnostic Ultrasound preferred.
• RDCS or RCS certification required or equivalent.
• RVT preferred but not required.
• Hospital-based Cardiac Sonographer experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform an extensive range of cardiac ultrasound studies (Transthoracic, Exercise, Pharmacologic Stress Echocardiograms).
• Provide education and clinical instruction to cardiac sonography students and cardiology fellows.
• Access and correlate patient medical history and provide proper documentation.

Education

Graduate from a CAAHEPP-accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program

BS in Diagnostic Ultrasound preferred

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred

Hospital-based experience as Cardiac Sonographer
