Johns Hopkins Intrastaff seeks an experienced Cardiac Sonographer II to support the Echocardiography team at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Responsibilities include performing TTE, stress echocardiograms, and advanced cardiac imaging while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.

The role includes teaching cardiac sonography students and fellows, contributing to research protocols, and maintaining equipment per QA standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold RDCS or RCS certification from ARDMS/CCI.
• 3+ years of hospital-based cardiac sonography experience.
• Ability to perform diagnostic echocardiography independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform TTE, exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms.
• Acquire high-quality diagnostic images and measurements per standards.
• Perform vascular ultrasound studies when needed.
• Support echo-guided interventions and advanced imaging protocols.
• Analyze examinations and communicate preliminary findings to physicians.
• Educate cardiac sonography students and cardiology fellows.
• Participate in clinical research protocols and imaging studies.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and QA standards.
