Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Echo Technologist to perform echocardiograms across patient ages under the Cardiology Non-Invasive team's supervision. You will analyze data and support the physician in treatment decisions, with a 4/10 schedule, 7:00am-5:30pm or 6:30am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities include assisting with stress testing, transesophageal echocardiograms, maintaining patient records, and outreach activities as assigned by the Cardiology

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
• 1 year experience in Sonography OR graduation from an accredited program may substitute.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required upon hire.
• ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification recommended upon hire and required within 90 days.
• One year echo experience or graduate of cardiac sonographic program preferred.

• Responds within 30 minutes when on stand-by.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under direct supervision of the Cardiology Non-Invasive Market Manager or Lead Tech, the ECHO Technologist Float is responsible for accurately performing echocardiograms on all patients (including infants, adolescents and adults).

Schedule: 4/10s, either 7:00am-5:30pm or 6:30am-5:00pm.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.

• 1 year experience in Sonography AND required licensure upon hire may be substituted for graduation from an accredited program.

• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS required upon Hire.

• Certification with ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) recommended upon hire and required within 90 days of hire.

• One year of echo experience or graduate of cardiac sonographic program with combined training and experience of one year preferred.
