Job summary

Qualifications

• Current ARDMS registry in Adult Echocardiography or completion of an accredited ultrasound or cardiovascular technology program.
• Programs should be CAAHEP or CMA accredited.
• New hires must pass ARDMS/CARDIOVASCULAR credentialing exam within one year of hire and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient throughput and enhances patient satisfaction during testing.
• Reviews patient chart and history to inform the echo study.
• Positions patient and operates transducers to obtain optimal images.
• Records measurements and performs calculations for study data.
• Performs ultrasound procedures including Cardiac Doppler, Color Flow, 2D Echo, TEE, stress echo as available.
