Job summary

HealthPartners is looking for a Registered Sonographer in Minnesota to join their Cardiology team. You will perform various echocardiographic procedures, including advanced techniques like stress and dobutamine echocardiograms, while ensuring high-quality patient care and support departmental objectives. Essential qualifications include completion of an allied health program, RDCS or RCS registration, and strong communication skills. Qualifications

• Graduation from an allied health diagnostic program or equivalent training.
• Registration as a RDCS or RCS required within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of echocardiography techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic procedures on adult patients.
• Support departmental goals and participate in related duties.
• Maintain a high level of expertise through continuing education.

Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy

Knowledge of echocardiography techniques

Ability to work with critically ill patients

Knowledge of sterile technique
