Job summary

Travel to rural areas and support offices is required as part of this clinical role. A valid license and ARDMS/RVT certification are essential, with ACLS/BLS to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ARDMS or RVT certification.
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• BLS or ACLS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiogram procedures and educate patients.
• Proficient use of ultrasound equipment and related procedures.
• Complete routine administrative/clinical tasks to support office operations.
• Acquire echocardiographic measurements per protocol and create preliminary reports.
• Communicate preliminary findings verbally to the interpreting physician.
• Ensure data accuracy for clinical reports, demographics, and billing.
• Maintain equipment functionality and maintain records of procedures performed.
