Job summary

Grand Lake Health System in Georgia is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms. You will also prepare and analyze Holter monitoring and assist with stress testing and EKGs.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, graduate from a Cardiac Sonography program, and obtain RDCS or RCS within 12 months, plus BLS. At least one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a credentialed Cardiac Sonography program.
• Required to be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and stress echocardiograms and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Hook up and scan Holter monitors and assist with stress testing.
• Perform EKGs and recognize arrhythmias and potential hazards.
