Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health System is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for per diem days in our Cardiology department. You will perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound exams with adherence to protocols and maintain accurate documentation.

The role requires collaboration with physicians and staff to schedule testing and respond to emergencies as needed. Preferred candidates hold an RDCS credential or are eligible to earn it within 12 months, and have at least 2 years of echocardiography

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Allied Health Program.
• Current RDCS credential preferred; minimum eligibility for RDCS Boards required or potential to earn within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of cardiac sonography within guidelines and hospital policy.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, staff, patients, and family for scheduling and testing.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with patient transports as required.

Requires minimum eligibility for RDCS Boards and/or potential to earn RDCS credential within 1 year required.Current CPR certification required.State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy licensure required.Pediatric/neonatal experience a plus.
