Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health System is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound studies in our Cardiology Department. This full-time role schedules 30 hours per week, 6:30am–5pm, with on-call rotation.

You will work with physicians, nurses, and families to coordinate testing and ensure quality documentation. Ideal candidates have an accredited Allied Health program, CPR certification, NH licensure, and RDCS eligibility with 2+ years of echocardiography

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Allied Health Program.
• RDCS credential preferred; minimum eligibility for RDCS Boards and/or potential to earn within 1 year required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging licensure required.
• Pediatric/neonatal experience a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in echocardiography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of cardiac sonography within guidelines and hospital policy.
• Coordinates with physicians, nurses, and staff in scheduling and providing testing.
• Responds to emergencies and assists with patient transports as required.
