SolutionHealth in Manchester, NH is seeking a Sonographer I for per diem shifts in the Ultrasound department. The role involves producing high-quality diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation and collaborating with the care team across off-site and specialty locations.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited Sonography program recognized by ARDMS, with preferred experience in neuro-sonology, vascular, obstetric and gynecologic imaging.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited (CAAHEP) educational Sonography program recognized by the ARDMS.
• Previous experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Preferred.
• Familiarity with neuro-sonology, vascular scanning, abdominal, obstetrical, and gynecological scanning, Preferred.
• Compliant with Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) prior to hire, Required
• ARMDS Registered, Preferred + OR registry eligible, must be obtain within 12 months from accepted employment, Required + Vascular registered within 18 months from accepted employment, Required
• Ability to obtain BLS during employment

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures based on the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission standards (IAC) and adheres to the ARDMS Code of Ethics.
• Serves as the primary liaison between patients, licensed practitioners, and other members of the support team.
• Understands and adheres to departmental exam protocols.
• Use independent, professional, ethical judgment and critical thinking.

Most shifts and locations require staff to work as part of a team. Our department is always looking to grow and improve the services we provide to our community.
