Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiography on both adult and pediatric patients using 2D/3D technologies. The role includes data collection, timely reporting to physicians, and rotation of on-call duties.

On the Hoke campus, on-call duties may be waived with at least 1 year of experience. The position adheres to ICAEL and hospital guidelines, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• BLS certification required.
• Formal training in Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasound required.
• RDCS or RCS credential required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiac ultrasounds on adult and pediatric patients.
• Collect and evaluate clinical data and report findings promptly to reading physicians.
• On a rotating basis, perform on-call duties; Hoke campus on-call duties may be waived with at least 1 year of experience.
• All functions performed per department ICAEL and hospital policies.
