Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Technician for the CHA Cambridge Hospital cardiovascular lab. The role performs a broad range of non-invasive tests, including Echocardiography, EKGs, stress testing, and device checks. Strong clinical background and BLS certification are required.

In this unionized, on-site position, weekend/on-call duties apply. The department emphasizes quality, accuracy, and timely reporting to support physicians.

Qualifications

• Accredited Allied Health Program, registry eligible.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Previous clinical background required.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-invasive cardiovascular tests per established protocol.
• Conducts 2-D imaging, Doppler, and color flow analyses.
• Operates Holter and cardiac event monitoring systems.
• Prepares preliminary reports for physician interpretation.
