Applicants should possess an associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology, be registered in Adult Echocardiography, and hold AHA/CPR certification. The position includes responsibilities around patient care and ensuring diagnostic equipment is maintained and used safely.
Cardiac diagnostic testing including M-mode echocardiograms, 2‑D and 3‑D sector scans, cardiac Doppler, colour‑flow imaging and measurement of ejection fraction by echocardiogram on adolescent and adult patients at UTMC. Assists physicians in trans‑esophageal echocardiograms and performs stress‑exercise echocardiograms in the Heart Station with the stress laboratory personnel. Maintains digital computer system.
