Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer in Ardmore, PA to perform ultrasound procedures, prepare patients, and evaluate image quality while collaborating with a larger medical team. The role offers tuition reimbursement and opportunities to travel between Main Line Radiology locations.

Candidates should have three years of Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist experience, prefer RDCS/RVT, and hold an accredited cardiac ultrasound program background with an associate degree in Cardiovascular

Qualifications

• Three years experience as Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• Experience in a specialized, accredited cardiac lab preferred.
• RDCS or RVT certification preferred at time of hire; required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and evaluate images for technical quality.
• Prepare patients for procedures and collaborate with the medical team.
• Travel to other Main Line Radiology locations as needed.

Sonographer

Shift:

40hrs/wk (either 4x10 or 5x8 hr shifts)

Experience:

• 1. Three years experience as Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• 2. Experience in a specialized, accredited cardiac lab preferred.

Education:

Cardiology Graduate of a cardiac ultrasound training program (Accredited Program Preferred) with an Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or 3 years experience in the field.

Licensures/Certifications:

RDCS or RVT from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or RCS with Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred at time of hire; required within one year of hire..
